Today I went to the Army Surplus store to buy a duffle bag to pack all my supplies for Siberia. I am now the owner of a large army-colored duffle bag adorned with zebra print duct tape….I might need to go back and buy a pocket knife, but I felt as if I needed to shop around a bit more before I decided on which type of knife to bring to Siberia. I have started a “pile” in my living room. The pile includes everything that I plan to pack into the duffle bag. So far, it has a large trekking backpack, a daypack, a pair of black Merrill waterproof hiking boots (broken in), a warm fleece hat with attached face gator, and my pink Burton snowboarding pants and matching coat. I have a zillion more items to add to the pile, but for today, I am done 🙂
Here’s a poem to share:
Now
All that is, is now.
The past lies tangled in a network of memories.
Dentrites twisted amongst each other;
Like a nautical ball of rope tossed ashore in a storm.
The future exists within the framework of my dreams;
Instinct, desire and action are now.
AKAIK you’ve got the anwesr in one!
