I have a corner in my apartment with a basket full of the inspiring things I have going on in my life. A brief inventory of the inside this basket are: my kid’s book I wrote about a little birdie who poops art, my blueprints for a commercial development I am developing, my basketball, my Altai hat, lineoleum prints I made, and a few other pieces of random artwork….and here is a poem I wrote about my corner:
My Corner
A dusty space, often I overlook….
not what I find pictured in a book.
Valuable in its own vain,
a nice spot to think away the pain.
Integral to the structure of the room,
yet not even worthy of a broom.
Demarcating a greater space,
in my corner, I exist with grace.
Dreaming of the future, while pondering the past.
This is my corner now….each corner I try to leave prettier than the last.
Thanks so much for this great article;this is the words that keeps me going through the day. I have been searching around for this site after asked to visit them from a buddy and was thrilled when I found it after searching for awhile. Being a demanding blogger, I’m dazzled to see others taking initivative and contributing to the community. I just wanted to comment to show my appreciation for your work as it’s very energizing, and many bloggers do not get credit they deserve. I am sure I’ll visit again and will send some of my friends.
One or two to reembemr, that is.
If information were soccer, this would be a goooaool!
Thank you in support of getting the time to talk about this, I think strongly about that and love learning a lot more on this subject. If achievable, when you acquire expertise, would you mind updating your blog with additional facts? It is extremely very helpful.
Reading this makes my deicsinos easier than taking candy from a baby.
